industries to improve their presentation skills. Before you apply to
become a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), you must acquire one of the
premier Microsoft Certified Professional certifications: MCSE, MCSD, MCSD

Application
Description MCTs play an important role in Microsoft's training and

Requirements The
Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Program is an annual renewal program.
Each year in October, you are required to complete an online application,
pay an annual fee, and meet a number of program requirements in order to
renew your certification for the coming year. As a member of the exclusive
MCT Program, you will be granted access to a number of valuable program
benefits.

MOS
Requirement 1: Microsoft Office Specialist Master
Certification
To earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor certificate for
Microsoft Office 2003 Editions, Microsoft Office XP or Microsoft Office 2000,
you must take and pass the following certification exams:
Microsoft Office 2003 Editions:*
Microsoft Office XP:
Microsoft Office 2000:
*Master Instructor certification for Microsoft Office 2003
Editions will be available after all of the Office 2003 Edition exams are
available.
Requirement 2: Instructional Experience
Any one of the following credentials will satisfy the instructional
experience requirement for the Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor
certificate:
- A diploma or transcript from an accredited educational institution
verifying that you have satisfied the requirements for a teaching or training
degree
- Written verification from your current or past employer on the employer’s
letterhead verifying that you have two or more years of experience delivering
competent training on Microsoft Office desktop programs
- A certificate verifying that you have successfully completed a Microsoft
approved presentation skills or Train-the-Trainer course
- An instructor completion certificate from any of the following vendors:
CompTIA, Certified Internet Webmaster, Cisco Systems, Citrix, Lotus, Microsoft
(MCT), Novell, or Oracle
Requirement 3: Application Fee
The application fee for the Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor
program is US$95.
Requirement 4: Application Process
- Complete the Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor
application.
- Mail, fax, or e-mail proof of your instructional experience or credentials
to the contact information shown below.
- Wait approximately four weeks for your application to be processed.
Notifications of acceptance are sent in e-mail on a weekly basis.
