In fact, Managers reported that only one-third of their teams are currently capable of performing the tasks required in a storageenvironment that is growing in size and complexity. This is a problem throughout the IT industry, across the globe. Where will IT Managers and business stakeholders find knowledgeable, skilled storage professionals to fill the growing demand?

Using EMC materials delivered by Element K's channel, our shared goal is to develop a base of storage-educated, trained and certified storage professionals. EMC has developed a first-of-its-kind 'open' storage technology certification track based on concepts and principles rather than specific products. This authorized program will be offered to IDT's audiences who are interested in storage technology education either as an extension of their existing IT roles or to build upon their college programs that did not offer storage-specific education.
